How are the small groups created?

We will be doing a live random drawing on the first night of regular meetings. We know that it might be hard to think you will not be with your buddies, but from previous years of experience we have gotten the best results from this method. Everyone who sticks with their small group for the entire year, gains new friends and new understanding of other members of our youth group.
