The facilitating group of church operations is here to protect, care, ensure that our building acts as a home for members to share comfort and support. Without constant effort, ideas, sweat and funding assistance what we have will not continue in the condition that it was given to us. We, as member and friends of Plainfield Congregational United Church of Christ, must all provide our own talents to strive for & envision the future. From weathering, to repairs, to enhancements, to major construction projects there is always room for your suggestions, assistance, financial contributions and connections to parties that help our hundreds of members. Please do not be shy, whatever can be contributed is appreciated and then you will personally see the pride behind what you have made available. Thank you to those taking time out of their schedule to make this facility and grounds warm and comforting, so that we all have a place to worship the Lord.
At this time many projects are underway please visit often to see the advancements that are being made. Fundraising has begun to defray some of the expense from our general operations budget, please look into your own checkbook and address a project in the memo line. Some of those projects are as follows:
water heater replacement
outdoor cross lighting
parking lot expansion
renovation of entryways
contining repairs
